Engine Block Heater Cord Mount

From the factory, the power cord for the engine block heater is

merely a couple feet of loose cord tucked in near the left front

tow hook. Accessing it everyday during the winter becomes

cumbersome. The solution is a plug which is firmly mounted in the

bumper. The plug I used is from Westmarine. It requires a 1 7/8"

hole to be drilled in the bumper. Now the extension cord can be

plugged in and unplugged with one hand.
