Tinted Windows

Tinted windows are almost a necessity in North Carolina. The

truck came with the "privacy glass" option. So far I have tinted

all four of the door windows. The rear doors were already

fairly dark from the factory, but an added layer of 9% tint

makes them almost opaque from the outside. These windows were

probably around 20% light transmission from the factory.

Adding a layer of 9% brings this down to around a light

transmission of 1.8%. The rear window has been left stock.

Eventually, a bed cap, also to be tinted, will cover the rear

window.
